End-of-season weddings are often an opportunity to work with warm colors, orange and ochre tones, where you can sometimes incorporate darker shades to add more depth and naturalness. There are still some magnificent dahlias to pair with pretty little flowers. Stress levels are also lower, and we feel lighter at heart—a little tired, perhaps, but pleasantly light. It was in this frame of mind that I did the flowers for my last wedding of the season, my wonderful gift: Caroline and Julien. “We’d like warm autumn colors, but with a bit of pep!” Here we go, let’s go for the shimmering colors of the end of the season. And when I see the sparkling eyes of these two lovers on their big day, I tell myself once again that I am in the right place. So, thank you, Caroline and Julien for your kindness and your trust. I am so delighted to have been part of your happiness on this beautiful day that brings this crazy 2025 season to a close.
